I had heard a lot about the Rajdhani resturant chain where they serve you thali at 110/ or 150 / debated ??? And the food they provide is unlimited .. Well this weekend I decided to try this. Famished and sunburnt we reached the place. As soon as we reached the place, I saw an eye catching thali decorated in the display. And believe me, it was so tempting that we went in.
They served us huge metal thalis with 10- katoris. The serving started with some cool chhhachh. Chhachh in summer heat is a delight. We gulped it down in one go. Then they served us small samosas and dhoklas. They tasted good. This was followed by aloo bhaji, paneer sabzi, daal, kadhee, kofta . They forgot to serve us roti or rice..haha. then came khichdi with lots of ghee and roti, puris,...Overall the food served was very basic and did not taste any thing great.. However they made sure that your plates were full time and again checking if you have been served. By the second helping we were full and nothing more could go inside our stomachs. So we were then served some halwa, aamras and jalebi. The sweets lacked flavour and richness. Overall, the quantity is good but they need to go miles in terms of quality of the dishes.
